Pass Plus

Statistics show that 17-25 year olds are the highest risk drivers on our roads and therefore subject to higher insurance premiums. This is why the Government launched the Pass Plus programme. Backed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and major motor insurance companies, it is designed to help new drivers gain more experience and become better equipped for the demands of modern driving. The course needs to be taken within twelve months of passing your driving test to qualify for the insurance. The PASS PLUS course is a six-module training programme, with each course consisting of a minimum of 6 hours of training and will include motorway, all weather, city and rural driving. If successful in completing the course, you may be able to obtain a discount from insurance companies, subject to your personal circumstances.
